BR24

BR24 is a German-language radio channel and the information wave of Bayerischer Rundfunk. The program structure of the channel is characterized by regularly recurring news every 15 minutes. The information blocks at the top and bottom of the hour are 8 minutes long and are presented by editors. These information blocks also include correspondent reports and original soundbites. At XX:15 and XX:45, five-minute news segments without inserts are broadcast. These are read by news anchors. The minutes leading up to the next news block are filled with various in-depth reports on specific topics according to a program schedule, such as a block with news only from Bavaria at XX:08 and a block with sports news at XX:55. B5 aktuell also broadcasts selected sports events.
