NDR 2

NDR 2 broadcasts in an Adult-Contemporary format 24 hours a day. The daily program is divided into morning, forenoon, afternoon, and evening. Additionally, the program schedule includes special music broadcasts from 9 PM to midnight. Every day at 12 PM, and on weekdays also at 5 PM and 7 PM, approximately nine-minute-long news broadcasts (“Kuriere”) are aired. On weekends, the Bundesliga show (Saturdays from 3 PM to 6 PM) with Uwe Bahn or Martin Roschitz and the Sunday morning talk show “Tietjen talkt” (with Bettina Tietjen) stand out from the rest of the program. NDR 2 is moderated live around the clock. However, there are two exceptions: on weekdays from 5:05 AM to 6:00 AM, part of the morning show is pre-recorded, and on Sundays, the show “Tietjen talkt” is not broadcast live.

The music slogan of NDR 2 is: “All the latest hits and the best of the 80s.” In the evening music programs, the following topics are covered: live recordings, milestones in music history, the German music scene, newly released music, rock, soul, and easy sounds.
