    In meiner Jugend war er mal gut bin jetzt 20 und bin mit dem Sender groß geworden habe ihn schwach in Gütersloh empfangen können. Jetzt gibt es dort nur labber labber und die gleiche CD keine top 15 mehr und NDR Schlager als Zusatzangebot ist leider nicht wie früher naja schade

Information about the radio

NDR 1 Niedersachsen defines itself as a harmonious regional radio station. It provides detailed reports from Lower Saxony and plays international oldies, harmonious pop music, and German cult hits. The spoken word content is approximately 30 percent, which is very high for a format radio station.

The program is evolving from a Schlager to an oldie-pop station: The share of international titles or those without Schlager now stands at 85 percent.

Regional reporting is a key feature of NDR 1 Niedersachsen. Several times a day, at the half-hour mark, the program broadcasts news from the regions of Lower Saxony. The program splits into five “programs,” each broadcasting news for its own region. These regional news segments come from the NDR studios in Oldenburg, Osnabrück, Lüneburg, Braunschweig, and Hanover. However, the main news at the top of the hour also provides very detailed coverage of topics from Lower Saxony.

In hour-long evening broadcasts, the program provides in-depth coverage of specific topics: Monday: Low German, Tuesday: Culture and Books, Wednesday: Advice and Health, Thursday: Politics, Friday: Music and Personalities, Saturday and Sunday: Music.
