Hi Ben, Wiltshire Council have no compunction about closing roads all over the place, especially where they have allowed even more building sites. They close a lots of roads at night, lots of flooded roads are closed for weeks, 6 pm to 6am would be a small price to pay for a couple of weeks to allow the toads to cross.
