Informazioni sulla radio

È difficile dire con esattezza quando sia nato il genere Emo, poiché la descrizione si concentra più sui testi carichi di emozioni che sull'orientamento musicale. Questo si riflette ovviamente anche nel nome: Emo non è una designazione per tecniche musicali, ma semplicemente l'abbreviazione di "emozionale". Quello che oggi intendiamo con questo termine ha però le sue radici nella scena hardcore e punk degli anni '80 - musica dura che incontra emozioni forti. Paura del fallimento, tristezza, disperazione e altri sentimenti molto personali trovano spazio nei testi del genere Emo, creando così una musica unica e un legame speciale tra le band e i loro fan.
