Could you please play less of the Tragically Hip. They had a cult following at best until their lead singer died then the airways were overrun with their music. A lot of people I know are getting really sick of hearing them. Thanks.

CJXK-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 95.3 FM in Cold Lake, Alberta, owned by Newcap Radio. The station airs a classic hits format under the brand Boom 95.3.

The station originally began broadcasting in 1979 on 1340 kHz (AM), until it received approval from the CRTC in 2003 to move to the FM band, which officially happened on September 3, 2004. At the same time as the move to FM, the station switched to a classic rock format as "95.3 K-Rock."

On July 7, 2017, CJXK adopted the Boom FM brand and became Boom 95.3.
