The format of Bok Radio 98.9 FM radio station is adult contemporary. More than a half of the total broadcasting time is dedicated to music. The rest of the airtime is covered by:

• Weather & traffic reports
• Sports
• Talk shows

In addition to regular broadcasting Bok Radio 98.9 FM also introduces various offsite projects. For example they organized a competition with a one-on-one wakeboarding session as a prize. Each year they also do a music cruise where they invite celebrities to entertain the passengers. Many people also know and like their Bok Radio Awards - the biggest music awards event in the Western Cape.
