Television is also becoming increasingly digital, DVD players are replacing VHS recorders, and the first 3D movies are hitting theaters. And in the music world? Talent shows like DSDS are becoming increasingly popular, and their winners are increasingly dominating the charts. The Wacken Open Air is developing into the largest metal festival in the world. And some of the great rock bands from the late '70s and '80s are being inducted into the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame because their debut albums have reached the necessary age of 25 years: Metallica. Aerosmith. Queen. AC/DC. But: there’s also something new in the rock world – and quite a lot of it!
