  I have rediscovered KPFT after leaving Houston in the 90’s we grew up in the 70’s listening to Progressive Country as we callled it back then. Willie and Waylon, Guy Clark BW Stevenson at the Texas Opry House. I even saw Willis Alan Ramsey perform at Liberty Hall.

  I found KPFT back in the late seventies, during a brief stint living in Houston and working graveyard at a Gulf Self-Service station on Fondren and S. Main. Loved the station and loved Pacifica. Thanks Internet! I can still listen from North Illinois.

  I am listening to the archives fundraiser on KPFT. Is this the same programming aired in L.A. New York and Berkeley? There is no information about the location of the archive or how to submit archival programming if you have any. And is $250 the only level accepted?
