Whether you're a student or not, everyone is welcome to join us. Are you interested in current topics about the campus, Chemnitz, and more, have a passion for music, or just love to talk? Then you're in the right place!
Our areas of responsibility:
As a content editor, you're on the lookout for important and exciting information about the city and the university. You attend events and report on them or announce them in a trailer.
As a music editor, you keep a close eye on what's new and trending in the music market. You decide the music that plays on Radio UNiCC. Tasks include interviews with artists, reports from concerts and festivals, and contact with music labels.
As a presenter, you are the voice of Radio UNiCC and share interesting tidbits with the audience. Whether it's giveaways, new music, or just something funny, you can talk to your heart's content! In your own themed show or on "Radio UNiCC onAIR." Live hosting in front of an audience, such as at the summer faculty festival or the city festival, is also possible.
As an online editor, you are an active writer on our website. You prepare topics from contributions and shows for reading. Album or concert reviews can be found on the website, as well as short texts about university life. You also manage the social media channels with interesting information.
If you're interested in technology, you'll find suitable areas of responsibility with us too. Website administration, maintenance of radio technology, and server administration are just some aspects important for smooth radio operations.
If you're intrigued or already have ideas, come by and see us! We'll teach you the radio craft, from writing for listening to moderating and working with editing programs. You'll see: no prior knowledge is necessary to work with us!
Our editorial meeting is every Monday at 7 PM. The music editorial meeting takes place on Tuesdays at 6 PM. If you can't make it at these times, just send us an email or message us on Facebook, or try your luck in our editorial rooms. We are located at Thüringer Weg 3 (low building behind the Studentenwerk).
