  For decades, I started my day with NW and there are still the odd good one (like Roy Green) but recently the hosts have been apologizing for corrupt politicians and/or drinking the woke Kool Aid. It’s as if their big boss called a meeting & laid down the the rules. Almost overnight— gone was true unbiased journalism. I had to drop the CBC too. Such a shame. It’s shocking to learn the only real people’s news is on YouTube.

  The Roy Green show.! Yay! Luv that guy! CKNW however is a part time radio staion. Full of adds and pre recorded stuff and left wing flak. Happy to hear Sam Cooper sometimes. He is a great journalist !

  very luke-warm journalism. Over the years critical hosts were replaced with politically correct weaklings. Bruce Allan and Mike Campbell were booted out overnight and totally erased off the CKNW/Global website, without leaving a trace or connection to that organization even after over 30 years of successful hosting. That really tells you what folks are controlling the media now.

  Hi there, just a comment on the leaving of Bruce Allen. There were days I liked him, days I didn’t, but always found his point of view interesting. I was listening today and I don’t know who his replacement is, but I found it very unpleasant to listen to. He sounds like I teenager, vomiting out masses of opinion, all in a 30 second blurb, and most definitely NOT in a good way. I hope this isn’t the wave of the future, I will flip it off!

  Every morning I rush out of my house not for fear of being late for opening my shop, but rather for fear of missing Bruce's reality check. I'm very sad to see the end of this. I wish one day we can get provincial and federal politicians that have the guts and passion he has but I'm not going to hold my breath for that. See you around Bruce.

  I literally cringe every time an Alpine Credit ad is played - often several times per hour during the day. It seems CKNW's add pool has shrunk to just a few and get played over and over again all day. This is becoming intolerable and I can't imagine I'm the only one who feels this way. It's too bad because the talk radio (Simi, Mike Smyth etc) is good. Please CKNW do something about this - your listening base can't take it anymore!
