I like that they experiment with pop subgenres. All the songs are pop, but you'll get some pop-country, pop-rock, pop-alt, pop-rap, etc. Top 40 should get the top hits from all genres, so I am glad they are slowly moving back into that direction.

I listen to virgin at work, and there’s nothing worse than listening to the same 10 songs for 8 hours everyday. I would rather listen to nothing.

Really poor radio, it only plays the same songs over and over and gets so repetitive that despite my love of music, it makes me want to detest listening to music.

The station airs a Top 40/CHR format (as it reports to BDS and Mediabase as a Canadian Top 40 Airplay panel Canadian CHR reporter), and is the flagship of Canada's Virgin Radio stations. CKFM's studios are located at 250 Richmond Street West in the Entertainment District, while its transmitter is located at the top of the CN Tower.
