Props to Bell Media on being able to operate a station with a negligible budget. The critical "Morning Rush" segment is not at all entertaining, featuring some rather dull personalities and tends to concentrate on negativity / complaining / scare mongering. You pick the subject. And the quantity of ads...overwhelming. Ken Grant, Ernie Calcutt, et .al are rolling over in their graves..

I was listening this morning and the announcer was dumping on Wayne Newton. I have to say I once shared his view, that is until I actually saw Mr. Newton perform to a handle full of people at the Winnipeg EX in the early 90's. He was a phenomenal entertainer, incredibly talented musician on a range of instruments and gave his all.

Bill Carrol, Ottawa's own Forest Gump. He knows everything, knows everyone, has been everywhere, etc. An opiniated shill who loves to talk about his house in Manotick, with the lush lawn, the xmas lights, the boat, and his dog that eats walls. He certainly is no Steve Madely, Mark Suthcliff, or Ken Grant. Then there's Dahlia, what a waste of airwaves. As much as possible, I listen to 1310, especially Rob Snow - a huge mistake CFRA made in dropping him. CFRA has lost it.
