The station was formerly known as Q106 in the 80s and later became a dance station, known as Hot 105.7 in the early 90s. The format was then changed to an active rock music format branded as first "105.7 The Edge", then later "105.7 The X Rocks".

    For some reason your station will not play online anymore. So I cannot listen anymore. What is going on?? It keeps saying playback error over and over...And I really liked listening to the best station out there and cannot anymore...:(

    I used to live in Lancaster County. I miss this station! I now live in Nevada. The stations out here just don’t have the same vibe as The X.
