Downtown Radio is the public name for LPFM Downtown Tucson, a 501(c)3
non-profit organization designed to maintain a community-sponsored rock
'n'roll radio station. The call letters are KTDT-LP. Downtown Radio fills a void by playing non-corporate rock 'n' roll, including local and independent artists.
These guys are the best DJ's in town!! Love hearing music I otherwise never would have. Reminds me of the old days of FM when they didn't have any commercials and never played the same over produced pop stuff played by everyone else.

Hi,i was thinking of how the F.M. radio station was[when i was 11 or so] a "sPOOKY" thing you might find when you went over to a friends house and there was a big Brother or Sister around and they were stoned out with KWFM ON listening to King Crimson Elton John or Its a Beautiful Day and man i found me a lil' radio and i went loudly into that "Night" or "dAy" So here we are we been through some great stations and aLOTttt! of crap really bad crap.DOWNTOWN RADIO comes from the side of a peoples station [i was just hearing hiphop now its a yOUNG WOMAN FROM pHOENIX DOING A GROOVY FOLKY POPPY THING W/CHARM.& NOW SOME ROCKING POST ROCK STUFF right on man & woman dig itLPFM -KTDT-LP Thank you -from the people-Billy

I love the music Tritone plays. I have listened while at work and the music is just perfect. Very cool station that I will probably tune in to more often.
