Information about the radio

Daytime programming will be playlist based, presented by some of the most exciting, knowledgeable and professional radio presenters. Evening and weekend programming will feature specialist shows.

Street Sounds Radio is launching on Monday 31st August 2020 (DAB, Internet & app), however you will be able to listen to our test transmission from Monday 17th August. The station will broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You will be able to listen to Street Sounds Radio on DAB radio, your phone, laptop and tablet, via our dedicated app and various third-party apps.

Street Sounds Radio will initially launch on DAB on the Essex multiplex and Internet, with future expansion on other DAB multiplexes.
