  A great album station with ace DJs like Nigel Harris, Gary Zeipe, Jerry Wright and the best breakfast DJ ever Tony Paul. Only one set of adverts an hour and no phone ins or endless DJ inane banter, just more music. The only station with its own ship!

  Way back in 1964 i was 17yrs of age,i rode a big motorbike,had long hair, and then my world was awakened by RADIO CAROLINE and a dj who went by the name of THE EMPEROR ROSKO and i was hooked. thanks to all at caroline keep up the good music and my memories will do the rest.

  I listen to Radio Caroline more than years and years! Not all the DJ are that good. But the music (albums) give me more different music tracks than any other radiostation around! That's why!

  The sound quality on the web stream is pretty terrible, there are nasty compression artifacts including random squeaks. It does not need to be in stereo but it would nice if the sound quality was more bearable. Way to low bitrate.

  HI from Peter Tankard in Sheffield south Yorkshire. radio Caroline is loud and clear right across Sheffield in the daytime on 648 kh even on a small pocket radio in the city centre of Sheffield.I listen to it a lot and I think it is a fantastic radio station and I like all the d jays on the station. and the album music they play Quit a few people listen to the station up hear as the signal on 648 is very strong in the daytime but not so good at night

  Reception sucks where I live in Huddersrfield as there is a powerful BBC AM transmitter situated at Pole Moor (about 3 miles away which tends to swamp my car radio) but when I'm travelling more than about 10 miles away the signal is useable and quite strong as I head out toward North East Yorkshire. It's a no no at night though. Some great music going on there though for sure. I can put up with a few crackles to hear a refreshing mix. Thanks for getting the AM transmitter back on air. Reminds me of the struggle to listen as a kid. 10KW ERP might be better ;-)

  Je retrouve avec plaisir l'ambiance des "radios pirates" des 60' ,que j'avais eu le plaisir d'écouter à l'époque...Maintenant, en France, la bande FM est pleine de robinets à pubs et à tubes mondialisés...Il nous reste Internet et Caroline, Wonderful Radio London, Veronica, et Radio Ship pour retrouver le plaisir de l'écoute...Bravo à Caroline still alive !

  What a waste of energy the AM 648 kHz is. I live 9½ miles away - I can see the mast - but I can't hear it AT ALL after dark. 1 kW is a waste of time - especially on that frequency.
