Radio Duisburg broadcasts at least twelve hours of local programming daily (Monday to Friday 6:00–18:00; Saturday 9:00–14:00 and 14:00–17:00; Sunday 9:00–14:00, 17:00–20:00, and 21:00–00:00). This includes the morning show “Radio Duisburg am Morgen” with Laura Potting and Kai Weckenbrock, which airs between 6:00 and 10:00. Other presenters include Jens Vossen, Melanie Hermann, Jens Kobijolke, Dominik Deter, and Jana Jostenk. Local news is broadcast hourly Monday to Friday between 6:00 and 18:00, and on weekends between 9:00 and 14:00. The local news team includes Caro Dlutko, Alexandra Krieg, Michele Timm, and Anika Rohrer. Additionally, Radio Duisburg broadcasts citizen radio on its frequencies in accordance with legal regulations. This can be heard daily in the evening from 20:00 to 21:00. Furthermore, on Tuesdays from 21:00 to 22:00, there is a broadcast hour in Polish (Radio Duisburg International). The rest of the programming and the news on the hour are provided by Radio NRW. In return, Radio Duisburg broadcasts an advertising block from Radio NRW every hour. Additionally, all matches of the second-division team MSV Duisburg are broadcast.
