Berliner Rundfunk 80er zendt een 24-uursprogramma uit en richt zich muzikaal op de hits van de jaren 70 en 80. De ochtendshow "Wir lieben Berlin" wordt gepresenteerd door Simone Panteleit. De mannelijke stem van het station is Michael Lott, en de vrouwelijke stem is Sina Fischer. Het programma wordt geproduceerd in het Mediacentrum Berlijn.

De aandeelhouders zijn DuMont Funk und Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG (M. DuMont Schauberg; 42,9 procent), Märkische Verlags- und Druckhaus GmbH & Co. KG (42,9 procent) en Radio-Information Audio-Service Zwei GmbH (14,2 procent).
