UWS Radio broadcasts on 87.7FM, DAB and online. It is in fact one of a very select few of Student Stations in the country who broadcast on DAB. The station was founded in 2001 and is based at the University of the West of Scotland's Campus in Ayr. During the university’s previous incarnation, the station was known as UCA Radio and became UWS Radio in 2011 when the University of the West of Scotland was created. Over the years, the station has upgraded its equipment and now has a state of the art studio as a result of the new riverside UWS campus opening, replacing the older system in the previous campus.

Hiya, listening to your show and really enjoying it. Some fun and interesting facts didn't know about kefler and fibre being invented back in the 60s. Loving the chat between the both of you. Will definitely listen in again. Lizzie
