Jukebox Radio is for everyone who waited for comedy shows and quiz shows to come on in the evening, who waited up for A Book at Bedtime, who listened patiently as Radio Caroline, Radio Luxembourg, Laser 558, and the like, drifted in and out, when we tuned into the shortwave bands to try and hear stations from around the world if the weather conditions were right, and for everyone who sat poised with their tape recorders, fingers hovering over ‘Play’ and ‘Record’ on a Sunday evening to record your favourites from the new chart.
