  Boom is the reason I listen to the radio again. Great, knowledgeable presenters, a blend of songs you just won't hear anywhere else, many that I've never heard on the radio before. Seriously the best thing to happen in radio since the 60's and 70's. As well as the songs I grew up with, even newer music from the artists we've loved down the years, and occasional new stuff that blends in with the mature listener taste. Get yourself a pair of Smart speakers and enjoy it in stereo. I never believed radio could be this good again.

  There are a lot of stations out there that play "oldies" but mostly they stick to hits. Boom has a much wider playlist - they play album tracks, singles that weren't hits. Some you'll have head before, some will be totally new to you. But you won't hear the same song twice in a day! Some carefully selected new tracks are played too. I love this station.

  I had a listen and Roger "Twiggy" Day was good but I prefer Radio Caroline which plays one third brand new tracks as well as classics which is more to my taste.
