Information about the radio

Deze vrijwilligersorganisatie, met ANBI-status, is opgericht in 1966 en verzorgt al meer dan 55 jaar radioprogramma’s voor haar luisterpubliek. In het begin voornamelijk verzoekplatenprogramma’s voor patienten in het ziekenhuis, later ook voor bewoners in verzorgingshuizen in Emmeloord, Noordoostpolder, Vollenhove en op Urk. Door de veranderingen in de zorg is de OZO haar uitzendingen 24/7 in 2008 begonnen met internet radio en sinds 1 juni 2020 ook via DAB+.
