LM Radio, originally known as Lourenço Marques Radio, is a historic radio station that began broadcasting in 1936 from Lourenço Marques (now Maputo), Mozambique. It was renowned for its diverse music programming, particularly its Top Twenty chart show, the LM Hit Parade, which played a significant role in promoting South African artists and their music.

Absolutely love this radio station. Two requests please: please add Nelspruit to the daily weather. Many people from Maputo visit Nelspruit for shopping and Doctors' visits; and please bring back the Sunday afternoon American top 40

Please bring back the popular LM Hit Parades on Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings. We also miss the American Top 40 on Sunday afternoons.
The station ceased operations in 1975 following Mozambique's independence. In 2010, LM Radio was relaunched as "Lifetime Music Radio," trading on the nostalgia of the original station. It broadcasts a mix of adult contemporary music from the 1950s to the 1980s, with occasional tracks from the 1990s and today. The station aims to evoke cherished memories through its curated selection of hits. Listeners in Johannesburg can tune in to LM Radio on 702 AM.
