  Just heard host talking about son getting a part time job off campus. I would recommend working off campus instead of on campus. Most off campus employers are very flexible with scheduling and often offer some benefits. Often your kid's take home pay will be equivalent because on campus employment doesn't withhold unemployment. The bad thing about this, if there is another government shutdown, your kid will not get unemployment benefits with on campus employment.
