Enjoyed but got in too late I guess you interviewed my granddaughter Paige Robinson and coach Molly Miller I heard part of coach's interview as my Paige and family all come a very small town Bethany il anytime we can hear or see on her on stream we get very excited and i'm I Florida for winter so i watch and listen every chance I get. Paige's mom and dad have driven 5 hours one way every game. They are planning to going to Ft. Smith ark and have plans to fly to Florida for games you are one of the lifelines to our girl so thank you and keep up the good work
Information about the radio
KWTO-FM went on the air in November 1972 at 98.7 FM with a rock format and was known as "Rock 99." This format lasted well into the 1980's.
In 2001, the station adopted an all-sports format and became known as "The Jock, 98.7 FM." The station became an affiliate of Fox Sports Radio but also carried The Jim Rome Show from CBS Sports Radio daily.
On October 23rd, 2014, it was announced that KWTO-FM would drop Fox Sports Radio and affiliate with ESPN Radio effective January 1st, 2015.
Jock 98.7 is now Springfield's sports leader for the Ozark's and carries both local shows with talents like Ned Reynolds and Arthur Haines to nationally ranked ESPN programming. Jock 98.7 also carries local sporting events such as: The Springfield Cardinals, Drury University athletics, Missouri State University athletics, high school football, and other sporting events throughout the year.
