Putting the patient first and always.Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio was founded in 1978, and is run by unpaid volunteers who help provide quality bedside entertainment from our studios at the hospital. The radio station runs 24hrs a day, 365 days of the year.

I don't listen to many of the shows regularly, but I always catch the Solid Gold show on Monday evening, 6-8, whenever I can. The presenter, Martin Kinch, comes across with a very friendly manner, seems pretty knowledgeable about music and plays a great selection of oldies over the decades. The other presenters that I have heard sound like lovely people too. Long may they continue!
