Radio Live Vercelli nasce il 6 giugno 1983 come emittente cittadina rivolta ai giovani, l'anno dopo si espande alle provincie di Vercelli, Biella, Novara, Torino e Pavia. Lo slogan della radio era Nove Sette Nove che era la frequenza cittadina 97.9 Radio Live era sempre presente ogni anno a Sanremo, Festivalbar e Azzurro fino ai primi anni 90, nel 1996 vengono cedute le frequenze a una rete nazionale ma non il marchio, nel 2016 ricominciano le trasmissioni su Web www.radiolivevercelli.com l'avventura continua.
