If you are a fan of such bands like Godsmack, Disturbed, Metallica, Megadeth – 98.9 The Rock! radio station is for you. They also paly some classic rock bands like Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Deep Purple etc. As for Metallica – this legendary band even has its own “Mandatory Metallica” show where you can listen to three consecutive songs by this band daily. KQRC also hosts the largest single-day music festival in North America. It is called Rockfest and is held every summer.

98.9 The Rock! is owned by Entercom Communications and is available on 98.9 MHz FM frequencies and in HD format. Their first HD channel simulcasts their on-air programming and their HD2 channel is more dedicated to heavy metal.
