NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Imperial 66109) Out of Los Angeles, this release from May 1965, is the first of three magnificent, Spectorian singles issued by Miss King on the Imperial label. The session was held at Hollywood's legendary Gold Star Studio with it's iconic echo chamber out front and center. Jerry Riopelle's gargantuan production was so impressive to Gold Star engineer, Larry Levine, that he played the tape of the tune for Phil Spector himself. Spector wasted no time in bringing Riopelle on board at Philles Records from from the summer of 1965 throughout 1966.
