The station is owned and operated by the Prince George Community Radio Society under a community license with a transmitting power of 500 watts. The format of the station is predominantly (but not exclusively) pre-1980 pop. Evening and weekend programming is comprised of feature shows hosted or produced by volunteers or other not-for profit organizations from the Prince George area.

The Prince George Community Radio Society is dedicated to bringing locally produced radio content to residents of the greater Prince George area. The Society is also committed to the promotion of local sports, cultural, community, and not-for-profit society events and programs, to increase awareness and education. With continued promotion, the Society will help contribute to the success of local groups and instill a greater sense of community pride throughout Prince George
