Masigoduke Mkhaya is a traditional/maskandi music show where we play South African traditional music. The aim or the objective of the show is to teach one another about our different cultures as the UWC students. University of the Western Cape is very diverse meaning that we are coming from different cultures, we speak different languages, and therefore this show is inclusive. It does not only accommodate South African students but also international students as well, its segments are very inclusive.

Program

11:00	Rhythm and Blues Sondela is an afrosoul music show. It captures a “Sundays are for lovers” playlist with a soothing energy and feel to the show, it has a fantastic music selection and also drives conversations around love and relationship advice.
14:00	Afrobeats Afrobeats is a music show that features diverse fusion of various different genres such as dancehall, naija beats, hiplife and soca. The playlist is made up of a mix of African music and American soul.
