Intokozo 101.2MHz

At this stage, there is no youth radio station located within the community of Umlazi except Intokozo FM with the mandate of tackling youth related issues. There are many geographically and Christians operating radio station operating within the district but it is not youth oriented radio station. We also have on youth station Durban Youth Radio (DYR), is located at Durban central but does not cater Traditional youth because, it’s most English broadcast station. This has left other type of youth remain with no radio that will cater for them.
We seek to be youth community driven, to identify with challenges and confront issues playing out in our community. At best, we seek to be a highly interactive youth radio station, since we are of the belief that challenges facing our youth community can be solved through dialogue, information, education; and we will open various platforms for the youth to voice their views.
Our target market is all ages in the LSM 4-7.
