I grew up in Dallas and this radio station changed my life! Zoo Freaks ✌🏻! LaBella and Rody’s morning show was epic! I became friends with Paula Rody in the late 80’s and got to know John a little bit. It was like meeting a rock star! I also loved 102’s dj Randy effing Davis! What a voice! He cane to Mother Blues one night. I was running lights for the All Fingers Band and noticed the lead singer, the great Mike “Cass” Castleberry talking to this gorgeous man with long dark hair. Later, Cass approached me and asked “Where were you? Randy Davis was here and I was going to introduce you!” My life story…

Moved to Dallas in 1973, and I listened to a lot of stations when I got here. KZEW, KNUS, KTXQ, where the stations I listened to the most growing up, here in Dallas. Had the Internet been around in the 70's for Public Use, I would have tuned into KZEW while I was stationed in the UK! Mobile Devices now make it so you can listen to any radio station on the planet anywhere on the planet! Now I listen to Stations that I listened to in the UK, back here in the Dallas now. Radio Stations create the playlist of our lives.. I'm a Internet Radio Host, because of these Stations I grew up with...

My new favorite radio station. AGAIN! The Zoo was a huge part of my high school and later years. Self-proclaimed Zoo Freak, here! Devoted, daily listener until the day they shut it off. Radio has never been as enjoyable, after that day. I can't believe there are only 57 people that have made it their favorite. Spread the good news!
