The listed information is no longer correct. KEWU was sold by Eastern Washington University to the Oldies Preservation Society of Spokane, WA and is now known as KOOL 89.5. The station format is that of a true oldies station and it is operated as a listener supported non-profit station. All of the former jazz format music library was given to the local PBS station.
