Kfm 106.9 has been broadcasting a quality sound for a discerning ear for the last twelve years. We are a low frequency station which promotes social consciousness and genres not championed by our mainstream counterparts.

Tuned in for something different. Man this is something else.. unique music programming 9;30 Sat night, presumably a DJ set but exquisite selection and mixing. Only problem is stacks of unfamiliar music, not always flagged by Shazam. Radio could be the vehicle for simply announcing what is being played . Five stars from me in Melbourne, Mark from MediaMARK

The engine that powers Kfm106.9 is a community of fifty DJs who volunteer their time simply for the love of music. We broadcast from the cultural and artistic hub of Auckland's CBD, on Karangahape Rd in St Kevins Arcade.
As far as coverage goes our frequency is strongest in central Auckland and covers most of Manukau City. We also have an aerial on top of Captin Lungbutter's roof in Titirangi which enables us to reach parts of West Auckland also on 88.1 fm. We have a large listenership all around the globe who stream us live with one third of our broadband usage taken up by America. Chur!
