WCON-FM (99.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a country music and Southern gospel format. Licensed to Cornelia, Georgia, United States, the station is currently owned by Habersham Broadcasting Co. and features programming from ABC Radio. WCON-FM also broadcasts games of the Habersham Central High School "Raiders", and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football.

When you say classic country, I exspect to hear willie, George, picking and grinning guys. You are just playing modern country. I enjoy it but it’s not what you advertise.

I don't know who chooses your music, but it sucks. Where's Merle, George, Lefty, Webb, Willie? You don't know what classic country is. Listen to TV's Charter country channel for an education. you're playing artist I've never heard of.

The horrible person who replaced Kathy is Terrible! He doesn't have a clue about an inspirational moment if it was presented to him. Let Billy do the talking and he can do something like pretend what gospel music truly means. I am 45 years old and live to share that moment daily with my granddaughter. Shame on him! He makes me turn the radio station. Let Billy pick if nothing else. Y'all messed up taking Kathy away.

A refreshing change from the rap sell outs and snap-finger cookie cutter modern "stuff." If only we could get Ray Price, The Statler Brothers, Faron Young, and Jim Ed Brown in the rotation, that would REALLY make my day. Anyway, great station. Thank you for REAL country music.

I’m a new listener, as I’m a delivery driver for a local farm and enjoy the older gen of country but I cannot help but notice the absence of Travis Tritt, I’m a west Ga boy as is Travis tritt and noticed y’all prefer Alan Jackson over Tritt... y’all keep playing the oldies tho!!!!

We love this radio station thanks for playing real country music that we grew up with. I read a post on Facebook that you played a song from our friends CD wanted to know if it is true and if you can play them more often. WCON is well established in the North Georgia area, the AM station having been on the air since 1953. WCON-FM went on the air in 1965 as a Class A station and now has upgraded to a C-2 with 50,000 Watts of power. Coverage extends all over North Georgia, reaching into the metro Atlanta Area, and to Greenville, South Carolina, and equal distances in other directions. WCON-FM operates in stereo with 50,000 Watts on 99.3 megacycles. Our transmitter and 803-foot tower are located in White County about a mile from the Hall County line. Our new, modern studios and offices are at 540 North Main Street in downtown Cornelia. WCON-AM operates with 1,000 Watts of power at 1450 kilocycles. Our transmitter and tower are located at 1 Burrell Street in Cornelia, and studios are at 540 North Main Street. WCON-FM & AM are on the air 24 hours a day.
