I’m listening to some syndicated show this morning taking my son to baseball practice and the hosts were discussing the deaths of Larry King and Hank Aaron. They’re throwing in the “Your Mama” and emulating a “black southern voice” saying “I knew him when he was just knee high”, when discussing Hank Aaron. My son remarked why are they making fun of Hank Aaron? I found the show in poor taste and not funny, if that is what is trying to be. Can’t you come up with something else to fill that time. Just play rock and 80s new wave on the weekends. Pay some kid DJ wannabe minimum wage to spin records and not say anything-have discussions about El Paso events, local current events, something! You’re wasting money on this show and it’s not even entertaining. I could tell this shows social and political leanings within 5 minutes of listening before switching channel to 98.7 where the reception is bad but better than listening to that crap.
