Chicago Youth Radio WCYR

Chicago Youth Radio WCYR is a nonprofit radio station program offered by founder Everado Tafolla aka DJ 4EVER through the A.C.E.S program (Arts Communities Engaging Students). The station is run by students in the program. The A.C.E.S program is dedicated to embodying students from John Spry Community School in the Little Village area of Chicago, IL, while promoting a learning and leadership experience for students through research, public speaking, and critical thinking. Chicago Youth Radio WCYR provides broadcasting services to the John Spry Community School and worldwide via online streaming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The WCYR format is Top 40, offering specialized programming suitable to the youth of today, which includes sports, news/talk, rock, alternative, R&B, hip-hop, Latin, world, and much more. We are committed to our community by airing programming that is responsive to the interests and needs of our youth.
