The Ghanaian Attorney General and Minister of Justice Dr. Dominic Ayinye has submitted an extradition request to the US authorities for the former Finance Minister of Ghana, Ken Ofori Atta to face 78 corruption related charges.

Dr.Ayinye explained that, the extradition request followed investigations conducted by the Office of the Special Prosecutor, which led to charges being filed against the former minister and others at the High Court. On the other hand, Dr. Ayine noted that
