Black aka Colin Vearncombe was a British musician. He became known in the 1980s through the hit singles Wonderful Life, Sweetest Smile and Everything's Coming Up Roses. Until 1985, "Black" was the name of the band, after which Vearncombe continued without soloists under the same name solo with changing studio musicians.
