Firestation 104.7 FM was a Caribbean pirate radio station in New York. It had no license, used the frequency of WSPK-FM (also known as K104.7) and broadcasted their content in the Bronx and Brooklyn. On weekdays they usually broadcasted in the afternoons and evenings. On weekends they operated around the clock. There are actually lots of pirate radio stations in New York as they are trying to provide alternatives to mainstream radio stations and deliver the content that would appeal local people.
