How difficult is it to study to play the guitar? You are watching a guitarist’s performance… He plays without the slightest effort, easily, freely, naturally. He closes his eyes, looks in any direction, smiles. It seems that his hands play themselves, and the guitarist only enjoys the process. He plays, he listens, and enjoys himself. But is that so? Inside, you say to yourself “it will be difficult for me, but I will study” .. I WILL STUDY TO PLAY A GUITAR!
At this moment you are completely far from understanding what it is worth learning to play. Yes, we certainly know that in order to achieve a result, we need to work. And this musician worked a lot before going on stage and impressing us with his skill. I will work too, I’m persistent, I can, because it’s so cool - you think.
But no one, except the musician himself on the stage, represents the scale of this work. How much do you need to work? How to work? What will have to sacrifice for the sake of the result? What you see and hear now is not even the tip of the iceberg. This is a microscopic grain of sand from a huge mountain of invested labor the size of Everest. These are many years and decades of regular practice. This is the path of trials and errors. And this path is never direct and cloudless. You embark on this road with enthusiasm, you see the ultimate goal of your journey. Here it is, very close. A couple of years on a straight road and I'm there! And with my determination and perseverance, I will be there in a year! Hooray, I ran. All look, friends, acquaintances, relatives, wives, children, I'm already running!
Was- the case with me? Try to guess ...
