Der Sender mit Sitz in Mannheim hat sein offizielles Sendegebiet im westlichen Landesteil, der den größten Teil von Baden umfasst. Er kann aber auch in angrenzenden Gebieten von Württemberg, Hessen, der Pfalz, dem Elsass und der Schweiz empfangen werden. In Freiburg und Karlsruhe befinden sich weitere Studios.
